📅 Back in 2021, I bought a course.
Not to learn—
But to grow it.

It was Chimp Essentials, built by Paul Jarvis.
7,000+ students.
Solid content.
But it hadn’t been updated in years.

Most people saw a dead asset.
I saw distribution.

Here’s what I did:

🛠️ → Step 1: Rebuilt the course from the ground up
I added new lessons, updated every module, and made it reflect how real email marketing works in 2021.

📣 → Step 2: Relaunched to the existing audience
Paul had already built trust.
I didn’t need a funnel.
I needed to deliver value that earned the right to sell again.

💸 → Step 3: Layered in community + coaching
I added bonus content, live sessions, and support.
That turned one-time buyers into fans—and repeat customers.

Within 12 months, the course was doing $60k MRR.

And here’s the kicker:

I didn’t start from scratch.
I started where someone else stopped.

💡 Lesson?
There’s opportunity in what others walk away from.
You don’t always have to build the product—sometimes you just have to believe in it enough to revive it.

Landing pages

Most B2B landing pages read like someone copied a SaaS homepage…

🔍 Page Structure (simple but high-converting)
→ 1 headline that speaks to the pain (“Double your open rates in 7 minutes”)
→ 1 subhead that teases the gain
→ 3 bullets (what they’ll learn or get)
→ 1 form
→ 1 line of social proof (“Join 7,000+ B2B founders”)
→ 1 CTA (just one)

Most people overdesign.
Remove the friction.

Productising

📅 Flashback to 2020 when I ran MailNinja

Campaign budgets were vanishing.
Clients were hitting pause.
