Here’s a wild thought: How often do you check if the people engaging with your content are actually the ones you want to target?

I did a deep dive into my LinkedIn stats recently, and here’s what I found:

  • Job titles: Founders, CEOs, solopreneurs. My ideal people.
  • Locations: UK-heavy (hi, London) with a splash of New York.
  • Industries: Advertising and IT lead the pack.
  • Seniority: Mostly senior-level decision-makers.

So far, so good, right? But here’s the kicker:

It wasn’t luck. It was a strategy shift—creating content for founders instead of marketers.

The lesson?

Your analytics are like a secret map. Use them to steer your content in the right direction.
